“I was looking at the fountain… gazing, staring… feeling like a sculpture. There was just us, me and this big round structure. I didn’t notice all the people around me… spending money, talking about nothing and everything… just living, I guess. When he pet me, he brought me out of my concentration, again.”

Triggered by the artistic universe of Jos de Gruyter & Harald Thys, twenty-two young international artists created this unconventional group show. They worked together to develop a parallel environment inspired by the Ravenstein Gallery wherein characters and narratives are borrowed and reinvented. A fictional universe arises in the gallery space.

“Finally, we will witness a physical symbiosis between the real world and the parallel world.”
